Syringa vulgaris ‘ludwig spaeth'
This lilac is named after a German botanist and nurseryman, Ludwig Spaeth. The flowers on this lilac are very fragrant, and are a beautiful deep purple. They bloom in the later spring. This lilac can grow to be 6-8' tall and 6-10' wide.
