This low maintenance crabapple tree produces brilliant violet-red flowers in the spring. The Profusion needs full sun, and can grow to be 15-30' tall and 20-35' wide. It can adapt to a wide range of soils. The fruit that is produced is loved by birds and can be harvested to make jelly.
It is best to prune Profusions in the late winter while the tree is dormant. Spring pruning should be avoided.
As with most plants, you will want to water this tree well when it is first planted to be sure that the roots take to the soil. Give it some love in the next spring by feeding it an all purpose fertilizer from our Garden Center!
